ZIKA in New Mexico? Because cases of Zika,that were transmitted by mosquitos, have been found in the United States we know that citizens will be concerned about mosquitos in our area. In New Mexico there have been four reported cases of Zika, that were acquired while traveling abroad. And mosquito species known to be able to transmit Zika have been found in four New Mexico counties.
